Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Category: Analyze markets, suppliers, and category trends; support sourcing strategies and supplier benchmarking; track pricing, contracts, supply risks, and KPIs; assist in cost structures and identifying savings opportunities.
  • Business Optimization: Collaborate with Senior Director on cost-saving initiatives, SKU reviews, and process improvements; conduct research to identify efficiency and margin opportunities; support dashboards, trackers, and business reviews.
  • Data & Insights: Analyze spending data, supplier performance, and category trends; build simple models and charts; prepare executive-ready summaries and slides.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality, Commercialization and Finance to gather data; prepare materials for meetings and leadership updates.
  • Supplier Partnership Support: Help coordinate supplier meetings, business reviews, and follow-up actions; track deliverables and deadlines.
  • Planning Optimization: Demand & supply planning support; cross-functional alignment with Supply Chain and Procurement; build planning models and S&OP scenarios; track KPIs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a high‑potential and motivated Business Analyst to join our Procurement & Business Optimization team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is smart, curious, analytical, and eager to grow into commercial-facing roles such as procurement, pricing, category management, and business strategy. They will work closely with the Senior Director of Business Optimization to support cost savings, pricing intelligence, sourcing strategy, and broader business improvement initiatives. This is a developmental, growth-oriented role designed to build strong capabilities in procurement, commercial strategy, and data‑driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Category Support
  • Analyze markets, suppliers, and category trends for ingredients, spices, and other materials
  • Support sourcing strategies, category reviews, and supplier benchmarking
  • Track pricing, contracts, supply risks, and category KPIs
  • Assist in evaluating cost structures and identifying savings opportunities
Business Optimization Partnership
  • Work directly with the Senior Director of Business Optimization on cost‑saving initiatives, SKU reviews, and process improvements
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and margin enhancement
  • Support dashboards, trackers, and business reviews
Data & Insights
  • Analyze spending data, supplier performance, and category trends
  • Build simple models, charts, and insights that help guide decision‑making
  • Prepare concise summaries and executive-ready slides
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work with Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality, Commercialization and Finance to gather data and support key initiatives
  • Assist in preparing materials for internal meetings, cross‑functional updates, and leadership presentations
Supplier Partnership Support
  • Help coordinate supplier meetings, business reviews, and follow‑up actions
  • Track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met
Planning Optimization
  • Demand & supply planning support: analyzing historical trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory data
  • Cross‑functional alignment: coordinating with Supply Chain and Procurement to align sourcing with demand forecasts and inventory targets
  • Planning models & S&OP: building scenario analyses and capacity reviews to support Sales & Operations Planning
  • KPI tracking: monitoring forecast accuracy, service levels, and waste reduction to drive continuous improvement

The pay for this role ranges from $81,000- 108,000 and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
