Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a skilled business analyst to analyze processes, gather requirements, and translate needs into actionable artifacts. You will support design, testing, and implementation while coordinating with stakeholders across VA, legacy systems, SI, SMEs, developers, testers, and PMO.

Your work includes AS‑IS/TO‑BE analysis, backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT/SIT support, and end-to-end requirements traceability across releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, stakeholder facilitation, testing support, solution design support, and/or Agile delivery.
• Experience with Agile delivery and traceability across releases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, test scenarios, RTM updates, ICD/DCP inputs, and stakeholder-ready documentation.
• Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions with diverse roles (VA, legacy system owners, SI, SMEs, developers, testers, PMO).
• Assist AS‑IS/TO‑BE analysis, source‑to‑target mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT/SIT support, data cleanse issue analysis, and requirements traceability across releases.

What You Will Do

Analyzes business processes and collaborates with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements. Supports solution design, testing, and implementation activities by translating business needs into functional requirements and actionable recommendations. Helps ensure technology solutions effectively support operational objectives. Translate FMBT business, data, interface, and conversion needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, test scenarios, RTM updates, ICD/DCP inputs, and stakeholder‑ready documentation. Facilitate stakeholder sessions with VA, legacy system owners, SI, functional SMEs, developers, testers, and PMO; support AS‑IS/TO‑BE analysis, source‑to‑target mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT/SIT support, data cleanse issue analysis, and requirements traceability across releases.

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"
• Bachelor's degree
• THREE (3) or more years of professional experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, stakeholder facilitation, testing support, solution design support, and/or Agile delivery.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Momentum ERP/iFAMS, federal financial management, interface requirements, data conversion, data cleanse, Jira/Agility, RTM, DCP, ICD, UAT, process modeling, and Power BI/Tableau familiarity.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
