Fractal Analytics is seeking a Senior Consultant for Business Analytics in the Supply Chain domain, based in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on delivering data-driven solutions, analytics models, and actionable insights to meet client needs.

The candidate will engage client teams, translate statistics to business problems, and lead cross-functional initiatives, leveraging Python, R, SQL and ML techniques in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in Supply chain analytics.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Inventory optimization, Network optimization.
• Expertise in Python, R, SQL, Machine learning & Statistics.
• Hands-on supply chain analytics experience mandatory.
• Knowledge of SAP data sets – syndicated sources and custom research would be a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Interest in Agentic AI, Generative AI and productivity improvements.

Senior Consultant - Business Analytics - Supply Chain Job Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Description

The open position is with Supply Chain domain. The incumbent will manage and engage client teams to understand, define and develop data-driven solutions to meet the needs of clients. Develop & conceptualize sophisticated & innovative analytical solution and actionable insights with high client and business understanding. Understand and translate statistics to address client business problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-end consulting to clients to help them sharpen their business strategy by implementing analytical models that support the realization of business objectives
• Provide support for Supply chain team for compiling, consolidating, and analyzing data for various Supply Chain initiatives, such as demand forecasting, inventory analysis, Manufacturing insights, Logistics and RFI preparation.
• Coordinate with Supply chain teams across functions
• Lead big rock SC initiatives and drive them to closure
• Be the thought leader in the focus area, go to person for internal teams, generate knowledge sharing trends in the team, participate in developing white papers & share new trends in analytics with colleagues, evolve one’s own opinion on the concepts

Required Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in Supply chain analytics
• Worked on Demand Planning, Forecasting, Inventory optimization, Network Optimization
• Expertise in Python/R plus SQL & Machine learning & Statistics
• Techniques such as general linear model, linear regression
• Hands-on supply chain analytics experience mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

• Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience in predictive modelling
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple types of data
• Awareness of SAP data sets – syndicated sources, any custom research studies, etc. would be a plus
• Technical mastery in tools such as R / Tableau /QlikView / Python or other visualization / Analytics Tools
• Ability to mentor and lead teams.
• Self Starter and experimentation in Agentic AI, Generative AI and productivity improvement.
• Process Optimization/ Lean Manufacturing certifications

Education

B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related technical degree OR Equivalent

Pay

Pay: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $130,000 to $165,000 Yearly. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.
