As a Business Analysis Advisor Sr. within PNC's C&IB Process Improvement organization.

This is a remote position that must sit within the PNC footprint. Certain job responsibilities may require in-person, in office activities on a regular basis.

A Business Analysis Advisor Sr. on the C&IB Operations Process Improvement team is responsible for managing process design and the improvement experience, as well as consulting with business leaders to solve complex problems, improve efficiency and manage regulatory compliance. In this role you will partner with business leaders to help them solve problems by understanding their business processes, leading root cause analysis, analyzing data and implementing process changes. You will be responsible for managing tasks, timelines, stakeholders and resources.

Additional responsibilities:
• Leads efforts to improve the quality and/or minimize process cost. Utilizes data analysis to craft appropriate solutions that meet business requirements. Executes on findings by preparing and presenting optimization efforts to governance committees for approval. Assess risks associated with current and proposed processes against business objectives and ensures alignments with the bank's and unit's risk appetite and risk management framework.
• Uses comprehensive view of organizational processes to facilitate the redesign of complex, cross-functional projects. Understands and develops an end-to-end solution that encompasses all aspects that a process may touch including facets of operations and business systems.
• Engages and coordinates with Technology, Change Management, Risk, Compliance teams, and others as needed in order to meet project objectives.
• Conducts analysis to identify, quantify and prioritize value creation. Cultivates and presents business case, implementation deliverables, cost-estimates, and cost-benefit analysis to influence senior leadership on process improvement opportunities that will assist in accomplishing business objectives in a more efficient manner.
• Consults business partners to ensure that introduction of new process is smooth and effective, and sustains or improves quality of output. Mentors individuals and teams to build capabilities. Leverages strong relationships with the Line of Business to ensure continuous improvement after initial implementation.
• Leads the development of no-code/ low-code applications in SharePoint using PowerAutomate and PowerApps
• Coaches peers and operations team members through business problem analysis including use of root causing tools, cost benefit analysis and business case development. Assists business leaders with effective project management routines including project scoping, regular updates and objective definition.

• Project Management – Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.
• Effectiveness Measurement – Ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.
• Information Capture – Knowledge of the processes and the ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.

  • Directs the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements. Participates in the development and review of complex processes and procedures, workflow analytics and reporting. May provide senior level consultation and communicates with clients and technology teams on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project goals and objectives.
  • Consults and recommends the frameworks, methodologies and processes involved in business requirements traceability for business analysis teams. Independently mentors, leads, and coaches other associates to affect knowledge transfer. Oversees the development and maintenance of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
  • Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. May communicate with senior level stakeholders and technology teams on complex business requirements.
  • Leads multiple business analysis project management processes through planning, quality assurance and effectiveness assessment. Provides direction for the successful deployment of projects. Drives the development, analysis and distribution of complex reporting.
