Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Business Advisory Manager – Transactions to lead financial due diligence and transaction support for clients in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams and presenting findings to senior management in a fast-paced environment.

Based in West McLean, VA, the position requires 5+ years in Audit/Consulting/Transactions, a degree in Accounting, and strong analytical skills. CPA/CM&A is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience with Audit, Consulting and/or Transactions is required.
• CPA and/or CM&A preferred, but not required.
• Excellent analytical, research and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel may be required on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of financial and operational due diligence for clients in transactions (M&A, divestitures, MBOs).
• Participate in client meetings and site visits with senior management to gather information for financial analysis.
• Prepare and assist in detailed financial analyses to evaluate acquisition decisions and financing needs.
• Develop and review financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial statements to assess performance sustainability.
• Prepare proposals and engagement letters.
• Coordinate multiple projects against deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Interact with other practice areas (audit, tax, other consulting).
• Contribute to valuation, forensic and investigative projects when needed.
• Represent the firm and build relationships through fundraisers, meetings with prospects/bankers, and professional events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of financial and operational due diligence for clients, including transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and management buyouts
• Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to acquire and assess important information for financial analysis
• Prepare and assist the team in the preparation of detailed financial analysis to assist clients evaluating acquisition decisions and financing requirements
• Develop and review financial forecasts
• Analyze financial statements to determine sustainability of performance
• Prepare proposals and engagement letters
• Organize varying projects against deadlines and manage time effectively
• Interact with the other practice areas of the firm, including audit, tax and other consulting practices
• Participate on valuation, forensic and investigative projects, as needed
• Represent firm and build relationships by attending fundraisers, meetings with prospects/bankers, charitable events, professional organizations, etc.
