The role involves supervising engagement teams, performing tax research, and providing strategic guidance to clients while maintaining clear communication and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in domestic tax.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to train, coach, and mentor others.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, but also in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/clients and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform tax research on complex tax issues.
• Manage engagement team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Provide guidance/mentorship to associates and interns and develop their technical skills.
• Maintain timely communication with team and clients to manage expectations and deadlines.
• Build and maintain client relationships and ensure client needs are met.
• Lead the preparation of tax returns for various entities and payroll.
• Provide QuickBooks support and training to clients.
