Job summary

NGIN Workplace in Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic Intern to join our team. This internship will involve developing business strategies, supporting marketing efforts, and coordinating events. You will also engage with a community of entrepreneurs and grow within the role.

This position requires 20–25 hours of commitment weekly and seeks motivated individuals eager to learn more about the startup environment. Although unpaid, we offer college credit and a highly collaborative office atmosphere.

NGIN’s Internship Programs are created to explore the growing field of entrepreneurship and give students in the area a chance to get involved with Boston startups as well as established companies. Interns will work closely with the COO to help build and support the community. You’ll be working side‑by‑side with great companies that are changing the world, such as Cure Forward, Emulate, Lighter Culture, Everseat, Cangrade, and others.

Job Description
  • Have the opportunity to create and implement your first Business Development strategies.
  • Research and develop materials in support of our branding.
  • Support Business‑to‑Consumer (B2C) and Business‑to‑Business (B2B) marketing efforts.
  • Provide support for online marketing campaigns; must have basic experience in Google AdWords and Analytics.
  • Assist and provide logistical support to our Events Manager.
  • Coordinate hosted events, manage the master events calendar; assist booked clients with event planning, on‑site set‑up and tear‑down.
Qualifications

We are looking for a front‑desk friendly person who wants to work with people, cares about customer service, and pays great attention to details.

  • Greet clients and answer calls and emails.
  • Celebrate accomplishments of our members.
  • Log client data and maintain the kitchen area, including set‑up and tear‑down in the morning and afternoons.
  • Engage with amazing people daily.

This internship will be 20–25 hours per week. Motivated and successful people will be given more responsibility and the role will grow to whatever you make it become. We are looking for someone who wants to learn more about entrepreneurship and is willing to learn.
