Job summary

SUNY Orange's Business department invites applications from diverse individuals to teach a variety of courses such as Computer Applications in Business, Introduction to Business, Financial Accounting, and Principles of Management. Teaching assignments begin Spring 2027 (mid January) on the Middletown Campus.

The adjunct instructor should have MBA or master's in business, teaching experience, and the ability to mentor students; community college teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of Business courses (e.g., Computer Applications in Business, Introduction to Business, Financial Accounting, Principles of Management).
• Develop and update course materials; assess and document student learning; participate in advising as needed.

Teaching Assignments are available on the Middletown Campuses beginning with the upcoming Spring 2027(mid January) semester.

Requirements:

Education Required: MBA or Master's in a business related degree program

Experience Required: Teaching experience

• Community College teaching experience
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communicationskills
• Experience mentoring students
