Job summary

FM Industries is actively seeking a Business Account Manager in Phoenix, AZ to manage key customer relationships and drive long-term value. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and address customer needs, while upholding high standards of service and operational excellence.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, plus experience with ERP systems and Excel. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years customer support experience in semiconductor or aerospace machining manufacturing environment.
Experience in Account and Customer Management and managing major national accounts.
Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
Working experience with ERP systems.
Strong relationship building, negotiation, leadership and influencing skills and a positive attitude.
Highly self-motivated and autonomous with self‑initiative to undertake tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong skills in conflict resolution and influencing without authority.
System proficiency, especially in Excel, and ability to learn internal software programs.

Responsibilities

Act as the key interface between the key customers and all internal teams and develop trust relationships with major customers to earn their confidence and understand key needs.
Ensure the correct products are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Resolve issues and problems faced by customers and address complaints to maintain trust.
Deliver bad news and a recovery plan when needed.
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts using key account metrics.
Comply with environmental, health and safety laws, Company policy and safe work practices.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for managing key customer contacts and maintaining a long‑term relationship with accounts. Build strong relationships with strategic customers and be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s products and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business by achieving long‑term success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor‘s Degree and/or 3+ years of customer support experience in semiconductor or aerospace machining manufacturing environment
Experience in Account and Customer Management and managing major national accounts
Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
Working experience with ERP systems
Strong relationship building, negotiation, leadership and influencing skills and a positive attitude
Highly self-motivated and autonomous with self‑initiative to undertake or continue a task or activity with minimal supervision
Strong skills and abilities in conflict resolution, influencing individuals over which you have no direct authority
System proficiency, especially in Excel, and ability to learn in‑depth internal software programs
