Job summary

China Jushi USA Corporation is seeking qualified hourly production team members for our Columbia, South Carolina facility. The role requires TIG welding of alloy metals and reading blueprints in a fast-paced setting, with on-site welding tests after interview.

Primary shift is Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm, with overtime and weekend/on-call opportunities. Compensation is hourly with several benefits and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work any shift (Primary Shift is Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm)
• TIG welding of alloy metals (1 Year On The Job Experience Required)
• Fuse welding experience (Preferred)
• Flexibility to work overtime as scheduled, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Operate in a fast-paced, high-speed production environment.
• Weld and fit alloy parts, read blueprints and use fixtures.
• Place parts in jigs, perform assembly, shaping, drilling, and leak testing.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Assist teammates with loading/unloading and pre-welding setup.
• Welding tests administered on-site after in-person interview.

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for hourly production team member positions in our Columbia, South Carolina manufacturing facility.

As an hourly production team member, you will need to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.

What You Will Do

• Candidate possesses experience in TIG welding of alloy metals. (Required)
• Fuse welding (Preferred)
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Responsible for managing loss of platinum alloy due to the welding process
• Must be able to use small hand tools for cleaning and fitting alloy pieces prior to welding
• Will be able to place parts in jigs or holding fixtures to be welded
• Assist other team members with assembly, shaping, drilling and leak testing
• Candidate will be responsible to the overall safety, quantity and quality of production
• The position will have pre-requisites prior to welding
• Fitter position will transition into welder position
• Welding test administered on-site after successful in person interview

What You Need to Succeed

Compensation- $ 22.75/hr (First 90-Days) to $ 23.25/hour (After 90-Days)

Working conditions

Fast Paced Environment in a Manufacturing operation. The job will normally be in a 24 hour 7 day a week facility with normal business hours, however this position could have overtime, and call ins. Area is not climate controlled, and subject to extreme temperatures especially around the melting area. Other areas have numerous chemical tanks and require respirator use in batch area. Other areas the floors are very wet and require care when walking and working around.
