Job description

United States, California, Sylmar

Shift: Night, Sunday-Thursday, 9:00pm-5:30am

Busbar Braid Technician you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

1. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment, including machining, processing, assembly, or packaging, and prepare supplies before executing job orders.
2. Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
3. Maintain equipment in good and safe working condition.
4. Inspect equipment for malfunctions and repairs.
5. Perform regular maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
6. Assist junior operators in their responsibilities.
7. Repair and clean equipment as needed.
8. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
9. Operate trucks and industrial vehicles to transfer equipment between warehouse and working area.
10. Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
11. Back-up supervisor; manage line processes and employee schedules, ensuring no disciplinary actions.
