This Business Systems Analyst Consultant role is part of PNC’s Lending Technology, Credit Card Servicing organization and is based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; or Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including high‑level design and data models.
- Develop and maintain batch jobs, APIs, and data pipelines that process credit card data from vendors (e.g., Fiserv) and deliver it to downstream systems such as the Enterprise Data Warehouse or Kafka.
- Write JIRA Agile user stories and help prioritize work within the development cycle.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL queries and support data‑driven decision making.
- Review API specifications, code in GitHub, and use Postman for testing.
- Assist with test validation, implementation, and documentation of application solutions across the SDLC.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Business, Technical, QA) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Support solution design and architecture discussions, ensuring scalability and integration with existing platforms.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to break down complex processes.
- Proficient in creating technical documentation and high‑level design using Excel, Word, Visio, or similar tools.
- Experience writing and managing JIRA stories, and familiarity with Agile Scrum practices.
- Knowledge of APIs, GitHub, Postman, and basic scripting or development background is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information to both business and technical audiences.
- Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and learning new technologies.
- Knowledge of Confluence, SharePoint, and experience working across multiple platforms is beneficial.
- Understanding of credit card products and related processes is a plus.
Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $60,000.00 – $150,000.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with pay based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
