Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid state department of education license/permit at appointment.
• Willingness to take on challenging tasks; reliable and flexible.
• Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
• CPI or similar training may be required for some assignments.
• Physical demands may require providing physical assistance to students.
• CPR and/or first aid training may be required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assists students under guidance of the bus/van driver.
• Exemplifies professionalism and fosters goodwill to enhance the district's public image.
• Maintains open/effective communications with staff and students.
• Takes precautions to protect student and staff safety and manages risks.
