Join to apply for the Bus Operator Trainee - Non CDL role at Z.A.ZEN Consulting (PTY) Ltd.

This position is an internship for individuals interested in becoming professional bus operators. High Valley Transit, located in Utah, is seeking candidates for Operator Trainees to obtain their Class B CDL permit with passenger endorsement. During training, trainees will learn how to safely transport passengers on scheduled bus routes, perform pre- and post-trip procedures, and communicate with dispatch.

Graduation from the training program will depend on successfully passing the Class B CDL permit tests. Upon graduation, employees will transition into an HVT Operator role.

Requirements:

• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Possess a valid Utah driver's license with no recent moving violations
• Pass criminal background and drug screenings
• Demonstrate recent customer service experience or equivalent education and experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, crouching, balancing, bending, and prolonged sitting or standing
• Willing to obtain Class B permit with Air Brakes and Passenger Endorsement
• Ability to obtain a Medical DOT Card before receiving the Commercial Learners Permit (CLP)
