Job summary

IDEA Public Schools in Texas is seeking a part-time Bus Monitor to help keep students safe during daily transportation to and from school and on field trips. You will supervise Pre-K and special education scholars, enforce clear safety rules, and collaborate with drivers and staff to maintain orderly, on-time operations across our transportation program.

HS diploma preferred; prior student supervision is a plus.

Role Mission

Role Mission: The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students during transportation to/from school and on trips. Bus Monitors particularly ensure the safety of our youngest scholars (i.e. Pre-Kindergarten students) and special education scholars.
