Our client is seeking SPED School Bus Monitor to supervise students while riding the bus and to help ensure students are transported safely for the 2025-2026 school year.
Client's Available Hours/Pays
  • Monday through Friday - Both morning and afternoon coverage required
  • $17/hr
Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity

The School Bus Aide will ride the bus and help ensure students are transported safely and efficiently from one location to another. Responsibilities include assisting students with boarding, following all wheelchair and seat restraint guidelines, managing students through communication and discipline in accordance with school policy, and reporting any difficulties or changes in students' needs to the supervisor. Maintain positive relationships with other employees, parents, and the public.

Client's Required Experience & Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English
  • Ability to maneuver effectively in a school bus and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to perform front and back door bus evacuations and CPR/first aid techniques on the ground or floor
  • Ability to walk the equivalent of at least one mile daily
