Job summary

Wayne Central School District is seeking a part-time bus attendant to help maintain bus safety, explain rules to riders, and document student discipline violations, forwarding reports to the transportation director.

The role also focuses on encouraging positive behavior and assisting students with social/emotional concerns as they arise, along with aiding the bus driver during emergency evacuations per policy.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work with diverse group of people.
• Follow oral and written directions.
• Neat, clean appearance.
• Must meet state transportation physical requirements.
