Job summary

Gananda Central School District is seeking a dependable Bus Monitor to join our Transportation Department. This is a 10-month position that follows the student school calendar. Bus Monitors are assigned to school buses where student supervision and support are required to help ensure a safe and positive transportation environment.

This position is guaranteed 4 hours of pay per day. You will supervise and assist students on school buses to maintain a safe, courteous transportation environment.

Qualifications

• Supervise and assist students in a safe, courteous, and professional manner.
• Completion of required fingerprinting.
• Passing a physical performance test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students on buses to maintain safety and order.
• Support a positive transportation environment during routes.
• Report any concerns to the Transportation Department.

Bus Monitor (10-Month Position)

Gananda Central School District is seeking a dependable and caring Bus Monitor to join our Transportation Department. This is a 10-month position that follows the student school calendar.

Bus Monitors are assigned to school buses where student supervision and support are required to help ensure a safe and positive transportation environment. This position is guaranteed 4 hours of pay per day.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $17.59per hour
• 95% district contribution toward the Excellus High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP)
• District contribution to a Health Savings Account (where applicable)

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise and assist students in a safe, courteous, and professional manner
• Successful completion of required fingerprinting and a physical performance test
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student safety
