Role is not relocation eligible.

As the Business Improvement Consultant, you will lead initiatives that range from optimizing single-department workflows to driving enterprise-wide process and organizational redesign. You will proactively identify and evaluate opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance both customer and colleague experiences. A key part of your role will be seeking out processes that can benefit from redesign or automation and working closely with stakeholders to assess feasibility and impact. You will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the enterprise—including business units, operations, and technology—to ensure alignment and sustained success.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Lead and manage a large pipeline of RPA projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements through tactical automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Risk—to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business and operations leaders. Facilitate collaboration across working groups that include SMEs, offshore/onshore analysts, and executive stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements for workflows and participate in design sessions for the automating of those processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Process Improvement Experience – with demonstrated understanding and experience with process improvement tools and methodologies including Lean/Six Sigma, Lean Transformation, Theory of Constraints, and Business Process Management.
  • Technology Experience – must have knowledge of business process management, workflow technologies or automation tools.
  • Financial Services Industry Experience – must have experience in the financial services industry across multiple business domains (e.g. consumer, commercial, operations) and process areas (e.g. payments, credit, loan servicing, etc.).
  • Automation Lifecycle Knowledge – familiarity with the full lifecycle of automation projects, from opportunity identification and assessment through to deployment and monitoring.
  • Documentation & Requirements Gathering – experience creating process documentation, business requirements, and user stories to support automation and improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in RPA project management.
  • Strong process improvement mindset with a track record of implementing successful changes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Go-getter attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and senior leaders.
  • Deep project management skills, including risk management, resource allocation, and project planning.
  • Familiarity with collaboration and automation tools such asJIRA,UiPath,Visio/Lucidchart, andConfluenceis preferred.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F (8:30am to 5pm) - In office 3 days per week minimum required

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $ 88,085 - $ 132,128 .per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factorsincluding but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
