Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a seasoned Supervisor of Fleet Maintenance to lead the safety-focused maintenance of diesel, gas, hybrid, and battery-electric buses. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repair campaigns, and ensure fleet readiness and compliance with labor agreements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in bus/fleet maintenance operations.
• Experience with diesel, gas, hybrid, and battery-electric vehicles.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate RTD’s rolling stock maintenance, including bus fleets, to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
• Supervise staff, assign work, monitor productivity, and provide coaching as needed.
• Oversee maintenance programs, preventive/corrective maintenance, and scheduling of resources.
