Bus Drivers

Part-Time, Multiple Positions Available

Cairn University's Department of Athletics is seeking to fill multiple part-time Bus Driver positions to transport student athletes and occasionally other large groups of college students to events using university vehicles. Cairn University is an NCAA Division III school and participates in the United East Conference.

Position Summary

Bus Drivers use university vehicles, including a 37-passenger bus, to transport athletic teams and/or other student groups. The work schedule varies based on event schedules and driver availability, with up to two to three trips per week during the academic year (August - May). Saturday trips typically last 8-10 hours, while weekday trips are approximately 4 to 6 hours. This part-time position does not include employee benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

• Courteous and respectful with student-athletes, coaches, staff, and others
• Evidence of professional work history demonstrating dependability and reliability
• Current CDL license and clean driving record
• General availability to accept driving assignments
