Bus Drivers Needed (weekdays only, no weekends)!

MSDWT requires a Bus Driver to have a clean driving record, be drug-free, over twenty-one years of age, pass a national background check, and be eligible to work in the United States.

A first-year regular Bus Driver receives $25.65 per hour and $27.21 with 5 years of experience with another district.

Permanent Bus Drivers are eligible for benefits!

$1,000 Sign on Bonus:
Any new full-time bus driver who possesses the necessary state licenses and qualifications to operate a school bus in Indiana at the time of their hire will be eligible for a $1000 bonus during their first year of employment in the Washington Township Transportation Department.

Qualified Drivers must possess all of the following:

1. An active Indiana CDL license
2. Air Brake Endorsement
3. Passenger Endorsement
4. School Bus Endorsement
5. Be eligible for an Indiana Department of Education Yellow Card

No CDL, No Problem!

CDL/Bus Driver Training Program: $180.00 paid midway through the training process and another $180.00 paid at the end of the training program. Payment for training is paid by voucher.
