Job description

Now hiring for substitute positions.

This is a part-time position, including both AM/PM bus runs (approximately 4 hours per day for 10 months). This position includes single health insurance for full-time/regular run drivers.

Duties (Illustrative Only)

• Responsibility for driving a school bus, minivan or other school vehicle on an assigned route.
• Responsibility for the safe transfer of school children and maintaining discipline on the bus.
• Bus drivers may be expected to perform minor maintenance tasks on various vehicles. The work is performed under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in the operation of automotive equipment.

Special Requirement

• Possession of Commercial Driver’s License with an “S” endorsement at the time of appointment.
• Drivers must be at least 21 years of age.

Appointment is subject to fingerprint clearance.
