Job summary

Orange Grove Independent School District is seeking qualified Bus Drivers to transport students safely in Orange Grove, Texas.

Requirements include a Texas CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, must be 18 or older, able to pass DOT alcohol/drug tests and annual physical, complete required safety training, and to follow written and verbal instructions. You will use maps, manage student behavior, and operate the school bus.

Candidate should:

• Possess a clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam
• Ability to complete required bus driver safety training
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to use maps
• Ability to manage student behavior
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Ability to operate bus
