Job summary

Mammoth Mountain is seeking seasonal transit bus drivers for the upcoming winter season in the Sierra Mountains. Gain a role where you transport guests to lodges and nearby destinations, while enjoying a range of resort perks and a dynamic work schedule.

Requirements include a Class A or B CDL with endorsements, safe driving record, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Training may be available for those without a CDL; background check may be required.

Qualifications

• No more than 2 points on current driver’s license.
• Must have a Class A or B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements.
• Safety Sensitive position subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests to and from lodges, hotels and nearby destinations.
• Perform DMV inspections, handle paperwork, fueling and fluid checks.
• Handle tire chaining in adverse weather and bus cleaning.
• Work a variable schedule with some evenings/nights; typically 4 days/week, up to 10 hours/day.

Hourly pay rate: $24.75 - $29.24

About This Position

Transit bus drivers needed for the upcoming winter season in the beautiful Sierra Mountains (November-April).

• Drivers transport guests to and from lodges, hotels, and nearby destinations.
• Responsibilities: DMV-required inspections, paperwork, fueling, fluid checks, tire chaining in adverse weather, bus cleaning.
• Variable schedule; some evening/night work. Part-time considered. Typically, 4 days/week, up to 10 hours/day. Enjoy 3 days off to play in the Sierra!

Requirements

• Guest service or public relations experience preferred.

• Training may be available for those without a CDL.
• Qualified candidates only. Pay dependent on experience.
