Job summary

Tri-County Action Program Inc is seeking compassionate, enthusiastic bus drivers for our Waite Park, MN location to join a full-time transit team. You will operate buses on assigned routes, assist passengers with mobility aids, and ensure on-time service while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Pass DMV violations check and criminal background check.

• Available for scheduling Monday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, caring and dependable individuals to fill a Full-time Bus Driver position in our transit services in our Waite Park location.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Safely operate bus on assigned route, staying on schedule and providing excellent service to customers.
• Assist passengers as needed with mobility aids including wheelchairs, walkers or other aids, assuring that all passengers are secured properly and all mobility aids are stowed securely.
• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections and report defects to Lead Driver.
• Monitor fare collection from passengers.
• Complete paperwork related to bus operation and passenger concerns.
• Be responsible for daily cleaning and bus maintenance.

Full-time benefits include:

• Starting Hourly Wage: $24.50- $26.50
