Your Role:
- Safely operate transit vehicles on designated routes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
What You Need:
- Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the front-line point of contact to ensure delivery of quality customer service.
- Safely operate several types of buses through light to heavy city and freeway traffic.
- Transport passengers safely and courteously according to specified routes.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the operation of buses, traffic, and safety.
- Ensure the highest quality of bus service is delivered to our customers.
- Assist customers in a safe, friendly, courteous, and helpful manner, including helping customers with disabilities on and off the wheelchair lift.
- Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures to reduce or eliminate accidents.
- Operate all equipment safely, efficiently, and adequately, including farebox, lift, radio, emergency equipment, hatches, and rear engine compartment door.
- Perform pre-trip inspection and complete DVIR in accordance with FMCSR to ensure bus and equipment are in safe, proper working condition.
- Coordinate detour, accident, and incident information to radio dispatch, and respond to instructions given.
- Make effective independent decisions and manage conflicts based on safety, experience, training, and policies.
- Follow procedures for the collection, processing, and documentation of fares and counting passengers as required.
- Report and properly follow up on all accidents or unusual incidents in, on, or near RATP Dev vehicles.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Pass a DOT Physical exam.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Eagerness to obtain a CDL (training provided).
