Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking a Coordinator Bus Driver Training (2026-2027). The role coordinates and conducts bus driver training activities, maintains records, and plans safety training for all district school bus drivers.

The position operates within the Transportation department under the 261 days/8 hours calendar. Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid CDL with a clean driving record, and Kentucky DOE Driver Instructor Certification.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of experience in pupil transportation activities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use Transportation computer programs.
• School Bus Driver Instructor Certification issued by the Kentucky Department of Education.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with evidence of a good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and conducts bus driver training activities and maintains necessary records.
• Plans and implements safety training for all District school bus drivers.
