Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• After Bus Driver Training, applicant must obtain or pass the CDL written exam.
• Must obtain the S (School Bus) and P (Passenger) endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions and complete classroom training with bus driving.
• Drive buses on scheduled routes and supervise student safety.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct during shifts.
• Able to operate a bus with and without students under supervision.
• Assess incidents and emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Assist with wheelchairs and secure devices for Special Education routes.
• Complete required pre-employment and annual physicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
