Job summary

Monroe County Consortium is seeking individuals to join their team as Bus Drivers. Candidates must complete a six-week training course and will be evaluated for placement on the substitute list upon completion of the course. An excellent driving record and a high school diploma or GED are mandatory.

Responsibilities include maintaining the safety of students and adhering to health and safety standards. Successful applicants will benefit from reimbursements for CDL license fees and training costs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Applicant must have an excellent driving record.
  • Sensitivity to and interest in working with students with disabilities is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the bus driver training course and be placed on the substitute list.
  • Adhere to health requirements and drug/alcohol testing.
  • Maintain safety and well-being of students while operating the bus.
