Job summary

Applitrack in Cape Elizabeth, ME is seeking a substitute bus operator to fill in for regular AM/PM routes, field trips, and other events on an as-needed basis.

A valid Maine bus operator's license and a clean driving record are required, with CHRC approval from the Maine Department of Education as a condition for employment. The role operates in a close-knit district serving Pond Cove Elementary, Cape Elizabeth Middle, and Cape Elizabeth High School.

Description:

Fill in for regular bus routes (am/pm), field trips, co-curricular and sporting events on an as needed basis.

A valid Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Approval will be required of successful candidate. However, it is not a requirement to have completed prior to the application process.

Cape Elizabeth has three schools:Pond Cove Elementary School, grades K-4; Cape Elizabeth Middle School, grades 5-8; and, Cape Elizabeth High School, grades 9-12. All schools are located within easy walking distance of each other. Please check the web site for information about each of the schools.

Cape Elizabeth is a residential community located on the Atlantic Ocean three miles south of Portland, two hours north of Boston, and covers about 15 square miles. It has a population of 9,068 residents living in 3,200 households.
