The Town of Madison is accepting applications for the position of Per Diem Bus Driver. This position is located in the Senior Services Department of the Town. Applications can be submitted through the website at www.madisonct.org.
Minimum Training and Experience Required To Perform Essential Job Functions: One (1) year of experience related to the position. Graduation from High School or GED equivalent is required. Applicant must hold a CDL-B commercial driver’s license with P (passenger) endorsement. Applicant must have a safe driving record and be able to pass a complete background investigation including drug screen. A hired individual will participate in the DOT random drug screen process.
Position Purpose: The Per Diem Bus Driver will operate a bus and transport senior citizens and others to various locations. The qualified person will be called upon to fill in for absences of other drivers as needed.
