Job summary

Cassia's Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo, MN is seeking an On-Call Bus Driver to support residents by transporting them to events and outings. The driver will maintain the bus to safety standards and adhere to MnDOT documentation requirements.

Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring a Bus Driver to join our team in Buffalo, MN. If you're looking for a supportive team and a place to grow your career, this is your opportunity.

As a Bus Driver, you will drive a bus to help with access for our residents by bringing them to scheduled events. The ideal candidate is safe, with a positive attitude and experience supporting seniors, ready to manage scheduled trips and maintain the bus to standards.

Position Type: On-Call, working minimum 3-4 shifts a month

Wage Range: $19 - $20.78 /hour depending on experience

Location: 310 Park Ln, Buffalo, MN 55313

Bus Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.
• Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports.
• Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
• Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc.
• Complete additional tasks as requested.

Bus Driver Qualifications:

• Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
• Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check.
• Capable of operating bus lift and strapping wheelchairs into the bus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
• Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.
