RATP Dev USA is hiring Paratransit Drivers for the Mountain Mobility-Buncombe County location!

NO CDL Required!

General Responsibilities

Responsible for operating assigned paratransit vehicles in a safe, reliable, and professional manner, while being courteous, patient, and helpful to all passengers.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Collect proper fares.
2. Answer passenger questions politely and accurately, including questions regarding directions, schedule information, and fares.
3. Ensure that passengers have a comfortable and safe trip.
4. Abide by all traffic regulations, laws, company policies, and procedures.
5. Complete all required paperwork, including but not limited to, time cards, pre-operational bus inspections, accident reports, mechanical defect reports, and other forms.
6. Report for duty promptly, dressed appropriately in the company uniform, maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
7. Report all accidents, emergencies, and incidents immediately.
8. Assist elderly and disabled individuals as required.
9. Issue transfers as necessary.
10. Avoid arguments of any nature.
11. Call for assistance and help if needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with proper classification or obtain the same by the end of the training program.

• No previous professional driving experience required.
• No operator’s license suspensions in the past five years.
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical, including a drug screen.
• Complete an employment application.
• Complete on-board training.
