Qualifications

Must have a service-oriented personality and enjoy helping others. A person should have the ability to manage time wisely and be familiar with the area we serve. Applicants should also be able to utilize current technology.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing local transportation for senior and disabled passengers.
2. Assisting clients on and off the bus.
3. Performing daily physical checks of the vehicle.
4. Operating wheelchair lift.
5. Utilizing tablets to view manifests.
6. Recording daily mileage.
7. Selling bus tickets to passengers.
8. Reporting mechanical problems and incidents.
9. Keeping the inside and outside of the bus clean.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Be able to work a flexible schedule and work occasional weekends.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an acceptable driving record.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Chauffeur's License or CDL.
• Must pass D.O.T. physical and drug screen.
• Have at least one year of paid work experience.
• Be a citizen of the United States or resident alien with the right to work in the United States.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds and assist riders on/off the bus.
• Have a high school diploma or a valid equivalency certificate.

Ability to:

• Work variable hours.
• Follow established daily operating procedures.
• Assure the safety of passengers.
• Work effectively with the public and department personnel.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.
