The Summit Area YMCA (SAY) is seeking a childcare superhero to transport children enrolled the the SAY's childcare and camp programs. The Bus Driver maintains and operates the children’s school bus and transports the children between the child care locations, schools and their outside activities in a timely and safe manner. The position requires a professional commitment to the philosophy of the YMCA’s programs and to meeting the needs of its children and families.

You Might Be the Right Candidate if you:

• Have driven a school bus previously
• Are a people person and can connect with those of diverse backgrounds
• Have a valid NJ Commercial Drivers License with school bus and passenger endorsements, or the ability to obtain.
• Have a big, friendly smile
• Love working with children and have prior experience

Salary & Benefits:

The salary for this role starts at $25/hour, based on experience. This Part Time Bus Driver position is scheduled to work up to 25 hours per week. The current Bus Driver hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am- 9:00am, 11 - 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

There is an opportunity to work an additional hours each week in another department making this a full time role with benefits.
