Puget Sound Educational Service District is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver for its Early Learning Transportation Services. The role involves safely transporting children to various program activities while ensuring compliance with established safety protocols. Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Bus Driver for our Early Learning Transportation Services to transport children to program-related activities. Our Pacific Transportation office provides pupil transportation for 700 part-day Head Start and ECEAP children in King and Pierce Counties and is in the fourth year of providing services through the McKinney Vento program. The transportation program runs a fleet of 32 buses and currently employs 16 regular and substitute school bus drivers. We provide school bus transportation to those part-day Head Start grantees and ECEAP sub-contractors who do not have their transportation services provided through a local school district. We operate under the guidance of the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) Pupil Transportation Services, as well as the mandates included in the Head Start, ECEAP, and McKinney-Vento Program Standards which govern program operation including the provision of transportation services.
