Job Overview

The Chauffeur III is responsible for transporting passengers safely and courteously, ensuring the wellbeing of the public and Hope Network property. A valid CDL with a P endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation

• Maintain safety by complying with traffic laws and COVID-19 protocols
• Follow emergency procedures and passenger conduct rules
• Fuel vehicles as needed

Passenger Experience

• Assist passengers and ensure proper seatbelt use
• Manage climate controls for comfort
• Keep the vehicle interior clean and organized
• Maintain confidentiality of manifest information

Documentation

• Accurately log fares and radio communications
• Report irregularities to the Customer Care team

Qualifications

• Passionate about customer service and people skills
• Respect for rules and traffic laws
• Strong command of English
• Experience as a bus, shuttle, or ride-share driver is a plus
• Must have or be able to obtain a CDL with P endorsement
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
• Knowledge of HIPAA standards
• 1-2 years related experience preferred
