At the Y, we’re an association of like-minded people (staff, volunteers, and members), on the forefront of a movement to ensure that everyone -- especially children -- experience an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. In a year, we provide high-quality literacy and STEAM-infused learning to over 3,000 children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K; give 58,000 youth and teens access to sports, aquatics, camps, leadership, and employment; serve over 200,000 members with programs and facilities; and engage 25,000+ volunteers and donors across Atlanta.
Under the direction of the Afterschool Director, the Afterschool Bus Driver - CDL (Non-Degreed) provides safe transportation to and from program sites, maintaining a positive, respectful environment.
Children and families will experience a high-quality program, with staff adhering to all rules and regulations. The program will remain compliant with Bright From The Start standards.
Ergonomics include bending, stooping, standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and verbal communication.
Employment benefits are offered through YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc. and require passing background checks, drug screening, and MVR checks. Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
