Job summary

The YMCA of Greenville is actively looking for a Part-time Bus Driver to safely transport children and counselors to and from schools and field trips, while modeling positive behavior, punctuality and health. You will operate a 14-passenger mini-bus, keep trip and mileage logs, and ensure safety and compliance on every journey.

This role requires a valid South Carolina driver’s license (CDL preferred) and being at least 20 years old; prior experience with youth programs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina Driver’s License and be able to operate a 14-passenger mini-bus; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 14 passenger mini-bus.
• Ensure the safety of passengers at all times while in a YMCA vehicle.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safety of participants.
• Communicate with appropriate supervisor any equipment needs.
• Return bus to appropriate place clean and free of belongings.
• Maintain accurate records at all times including trip and mileage logs.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers.
• Attend/complete required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising consumers.
• Follow mandated reporting requirements.
• Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
