Valley City Public Schools is currently seeking both CDL and non-CDL bus drivers for the following positions: AM/PM routes, activities transportation, and substitute drivers for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Valley City Public Schools will assist applicants with the necessary CDL licensing requirements. As a bus driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from their destinations in accordance with established routes and schedules. Compensation is $28-$32/hr for CDL and $24-$28 for non-CDL drivers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Clearance of criminal justice fingerprint/background check
• Must adhere to DOT regulations for random drug testing

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certified
• A valid North Dakota State Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) with school bus/passenger endorsement is required
• Must have a current DOT physical or be willing to obtain
