Job Description

Title: G-103 - Driver

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid CDL with P and S endorsements required; Air Brake endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively in English.
• Interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, and the community.
• Ability to operate vehicle equipment and manage communications.

Job Goals

Assist in daily transportation operations, ensuring safe and efficient pupil transport, vehicle management, and communication.

Performance Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and report issues.
• Follow schedules, transport authorized students, and ensure safety at stops.
• Maintain route directions and seating charts.
• Report accidents or injuries promptly.
• Participate in safety drills and enforce safety regulations.
• Maintain discipline and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Participate in staff development.

Terms of Employment

Salary and work year to be determined; part of the Teamsters Local 11.
