The role requires a CDL Class A license, high school diploma, and bus-driving experience, with preference for experience serving patients with substance use disorders. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with DOT compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• HS - High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Bus driving experience is required.
• Prior experience working with patients affected by substance use disorders is preferred.
• CDL Class A License is required (VDMV or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Drive, pick up, transport, and return within the assigned service area.
• Ensure on-time arrival and setup of the mobile medical unit.
• Maintain accurate hours and miles driven, fuel and inspect vehicles daily.
• Assist with operating the mobile unit as needed and adhere to safety and DOT rules.

In this unique role, you will help bring vital healthcare services directly to individuals in need by operating and supporting our Mobile Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Unit.Launching in the **first quarter of 2027**, this program is designed to expand access to evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder throughout the South Hampton Roads region. As a member of this pioneering team, you will play an important role in improving healthcare access and connecting underserved communities with compassionate, life-changing care. **Schedule**: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Day Shift); flexible schedule required based on operational and community needs. **Overview**Responsible for driving, picking up, transporting, and/or returning within the assigned Service Area. Drivers are responsible for on-time arrival and set up of mobile medical unit and must comply with all the rules of the Department of Transportation. Keep accurate records of their hours and miles driven, fuel their trucks and inspect them daily. Assist with operating mobile unit as needed. Adhere to all company policies, state and local laws.
