Job summary

Texarkana ISD is seeking a dependable bus driver to safely transport students on an assigned route in Texarkana, TX. You will operate a school bus, obey schedules, and ensure student safety during pickup and drop-off.

Requires valid Texas CDL Class B with Passenger, Air Brake, and S endorsements, age 21+, and ability to pass drug/alcohol testing, background checks, DPS physical, and a clean driving record. Competitive hourly pay starts at $25.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug test.
• Must pass a criminal history check and DPS physical.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to complete required bus driver safety training.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of student discipline procedure.
• Ability to manage student behavior.
• Ability to operate a school bus.

Education/Certification:
