Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a dependable Full-Time Driver to support residents by transporting them safely to appointments and activities. You will partner with care teams to ensure timely, compassionate service and help onboard new teammates.

Our drivers assist residents to and from outings, use ramps and safety restraints, and communicate any incidents to the facility to keep timelines reliable.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and compassionate approach aligned with CARE values.
• Willingness to obtain CNA certification within the first six months of employment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to and from appointments and outings safely, using ramps and restraints as needed.
• Communicate with facility to ensure timeliness and report any accidents or incidents.
• Support onboarding of new teammates and be a positive team member.

What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

• Assist residents to and from appointments and outings, safely utilizing ramps, wheelchair tie downs, and other equipment in a safe manner.
• Communicates effectively with facility to ensure timeliness to and from scheduled outings, as well as reporting any accident and/or incident involving the bus

Requirements

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months experience transporting persons and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Customer Service focused and the ability to demonstrate our core values listed above is a must!
• CNA certification is preferred. Must be open to getting CNA certification within the first six (6) months of employment
