Job summary

Birnie Bus Service, Inc is hiring a Bus Driver in Hamilton, NY. You’ll be responsible for the safe delivery of passengers along assigned routes, while adhering to safety standards and performing daily vehicle inspections. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

The position offers part-time hours (20–25 per week), paid sick and snow days, and a supportive local management team. Growth opportunities are available, with sign-on bonuses for licensed CDL holders and trainee

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of driving experience (class A, B, C, D, E).
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Be subject to pre employment screenings.
• Ability to work with people in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver passengers along set routes.
• Adhere to bus safety and bus stop safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.

Come join our team! As a Bus Driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of passengers along set routes, adherence to bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties.

What We Offer

• Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500 for fully licensed CDL A/B with S & P endorsements (paid in increments; offer good 1/1/2026-3/31/2026)
• Sign‑On Bonus: 1,000 for Driver Trainees (paid in increments; offer good 1/1/2026-3/31/2026)
• Pay Range: $19.70–$24.14
• No experience required! Paid School Bus Training
