Position Overview
A Transportation Associate is responsible for coordinating and managing transportation operations within an organization. They work closely with the Life Enrichment Director, nursing, and drivers to ensure efficient and timely transportation scheduling. This role involves planning and scheduling transportation routes and resolving any issues or delays that may arise. Transportation Associates also maintain records and documentation related to transportation activities and may assist in managing transportation budgets and expenses. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Education: High School / GED
Experience: 0-1 years
Valid and unencumbered drivers license required.
Must possess and maintain the appropriate valid license and/or certifications required to operate vehicles for transporting residents safely and in compliance with all applicable state regulations. In addition, those working in Kentucky must complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical before providing transportation services.
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
