Lirio Resources Inc. is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to provide safe transportation for individuals on assigned routes. The role requires maintaining vehicle safety, following care plans, and clear communication with passengers and families.

If you're a safe driver with a caring attitude and a commitment to person-centered services, we'd love to have you on our team.This position is responsible for providing safe transportation services to identified individuals on assigned routes during specified timeframes. Bus Drivers will ensure that all vehicles used are maintained and clean at the beginning and end of each shift. They will screen all passengers of the vehicle for communicable illness in accordance with Lirio policies and procedures. This position requires the ability to maintain thorough communication with both internal and external parties as well as maintain flexibility in their schedule to accommodate changes to routes as the result of weather, closure, cancellations, or other matters. All services are to be delivered in such a manner that meets all federal, state, local, and accrediting entity regulatory requirement as well as Lirio policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Drive bus/vehicle in a safe, courteous, and professional manner; adhering to all traffic laws.2. Be knowledgeable of all persons served on the route and adhere to their PCISP and other plans of care.3. Monitor individual behavior and report all incidents to proper department.4. Maintain the vehicle or bus in a cleanly and mechanically safe manner.5. Complete all appropriate paperwork in a timely manner.6. Perform safety inspections and/or bus evacuations upon request.7. Be aware of weather and road conditions in your area; report this information to Transportation Supervisor8. Report all mechanical problems to Transportation Supervisor9. Keep Transportation Supervisor informed of any changes, issues, or concerns.10. Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with all passengers, their families, and/or guardians.11. Responsible for ensuring that all passengers comply with applicable laws and regulations.12. Operate hydraulic lifts to transport handicap individuals. Ensure that tie downs of all wheelchairs or moving objects are performed safely and correctly prior to each trip.13. Ensure the safety and well-being of all persons served.14. Look for ways to improve processes and efficiencies.This is a part-time position working Monday-Thursday.
