Job summary

GECS in Michigan seeks a Bus Driver to operate routes under the Genesee Education Consultant program.

Required are a Michigan CDL Class B with PS passenger endorsement (or willingness to train), a valid DOT physical, a clean driving record, and strong people skills. Training is provided, and a $1,000 signing bonus is offered after 120 days of employment.

Rate of pay is $22.65 per run, with paid training and ongoing opportunities for professional development.

• Assist in upholding district transportation policies.

Description of Duties:

• Must possess Michigan CDL license with Class B and Class PS passenger endorsement or be willing to train.
• Must be able to pass Department of Transportation physical exam, including drug and alcohol test.
• Must be able to have an approved criminal record check.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must have good people skills.
• Must be willing to attend training.
• Must be able to duties assigned by Director of Transportation

Rate of Pay:

• $22.65 per run
• $1,000 Signing Bonus (after 120 days of employment)
• Paid/Free Training
