Job summary

Riverside Academy East in Dearborn, MI is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school. A valid Michigan CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills are required.

You will inspect the bus, follow traffic laws, assist students, and participate in monthly safety meetings to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid Michigan CDL Driver's License with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements.
• Must be able to complete trip sheets, pre/post bus inspection sheets, and vehicle inspection reports clearly and legibly.
• Must pass background check.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and/or stand for 8 hours or more. May have to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
